Sefeko is a real-time guard monitoring system. Sefeko provides a means to monitor guards in the performance of their duties as well as additional safety precautions such as panics and alerts when guards are under threat. Guards are equipped with handheld units that are used to scan RFID tags during their guard route. Guard route information is sent in real-time to the Sefeko server via the GSM network. Real-time guard route information is processed by the Sefeko server to alert managers about any problems detected. Problem notifications (alerts) are sent via SMS or e-mail. The system sends daily, weekly and monthly guard activity reports via e-mail. The Sefeko system uses a web interface to allow managers to monitor guard activity and get an overview of the status of all sites. |
